Board of Trustees
Mrs Taylor is Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. She is a Fellow Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). Currently, Mrs. Taylor is a former Senior Manager, Advisory in Corporate Finance at KPMG Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe) working with a variety of clients across the economic sectors.
Mr Mtisi is Vice Chairperson of Executive Trustees. He is a holder of an LLB degree with the University of Zimbabwe and a Certificate in Environmental Law. Currently, Mr Mtisi is responsible for Research and Documentation at the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association (ZELA). He has great experience in public interest environmental law research and advice.
Prof Murombo is a member of the Board of Trustees. He is a holder a PhD (Wits University, South Africa), LLMs (Pace University, USA and University of Cape Town, South Africa), LLB (University of Zimbabwe). Currently, Mr Murombo is a senior lecturer of law at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Director of the Mandela Institute. He has written a number of publications on environmental issues.
Mr Ndamba is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Institute. He is a Fellow Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds an MA in Accounting & Finance (University of Huddersfield, UK), B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting (Oxford Brookes University, UK) and a number of specialist certificates which includes sustainability reporting, sustainability assurance and Climate Change. He is a Doctoral Candidate for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with Herriot Watt University (Scotland). He is also a University Lecturer and has great passion in Sustainability and Sustainable Development. He served 6 years as Stakeholders Council Member (The Netherlands). He is also an Advisory Group Member - GRI Africa (South Africa) and Member of ACCA Global Forum on Sustainability (England). He is also a member of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) - Listings Committee and registered Public Accountant in Zimbabwe.
Dr Chiripanhura is an Advisory Trustee. He holds a PhD in Developmental Economics (University of Sheffield, UK), MAs in Economics (University of Manchester and University of Zimbabwe), and B.Sc. Economics (University of Zimbabwe). He is currently a Lecturer of Econometric, University of Namibia and has great experience in UK and Sub Sahara Africa.
Mr Mawire is an Advisory Trustee. He holds a Masters in Environment Management (Germany) and B.Sc. (Forestry Management). He is currently the Country Director with Environment Africa and has great experience in forestry management, water management and environmental conservation.
